ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Showgirl Showdown is burlesque as spectacle, skill, and game.

Across multiple shows, competitors advance through tournament rounds inspired by arcade fighter mechanics—Character Select, First Strike, Boss Battles, and Final Showdown—reimagined with feathers, rhinestones, theatricality, and audience engagement.

This is not real combat.

This is performance, presence, and power.

The competition is designed to reward growth, creativity, professionalism, and bold artistic choices while maintaining a respectful, consent-centered environment.

HOW IT WORKS

Showgirl Showdown unfolds across five live competition rounds. Each round introduces new challenges and performance focuses, with competitors advancing based on judge scoring.

Performers are expected to commit to the full tournament run and grow their character and craft as the series progresses.

Judging is skill-based, constructive, and focused on artistry, execution, and adaptability.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are not searching for one “type” of burlesque.

We are looking for performers with:

• Strong character and stage presence

• Creative risk-taking

• Solid burlesque fundamentals

• Professionalism and follow-through

• Willingness to adapt and grow

All styles, bodies, and experience levels are welcome.

THE PRIZE

One (1) competitor will be crowned Showgirl Showdown Champion and awarded a $1,000 cash prize at the conclusion of the Grand Finale.
